Waiver (PDF)

1. Do we head to Nepal together from Manila?
We advise everyone to join us on the flight from Manila to Nepal and back to Manila. However, if you wish to stay longer or arrive earlier, this is allowed. Just make sure that you’re in Nepal on our scheduled timeline.

2. Is a Visa required to enter Nepal?
Yes. Visa is acquired upon arrival and the fee is USD 40.00.

3. How cold will the hike be?
For the month of September-November and March-May expect the temperature to drop below 0 degrees especially at night. During the day, usually the temperature is between 8-15 degrees Celsius. Also, there’s a very strong possibility of rain or sometimes even hail in the afternoon.

4. Where will we be spending the night?
We will be staying in tea houses and guest houses during the whole trek.

5. Should I get a travel insurance?
Yes. Being in the mountains for almost 10 days and hiking in a high altitude mountain, having your own personal travel insurance is mandatory. Companies like WorldNomads, Axa Philippines, etc. are some of the recommended provider.

6. For the payment deposit, how do I pay in US Dollars?
For all our international hikes, we suggest to pay via bank deposit to avoid incurring additional fees. After reservation on our website we will be sending you instructions on how to accomplish and where to deposit the down payment. We will require a 60% down payment and a full payment 2 months before the hike.

 7. How do we get to Pokhara from Kathmandu?
From Kathmandu we will drive by bus to Pokhara. This is a 6 hour ride which gives one a glimpse of Nepal with its roads, gorges, scenic mountain views, among others. On the way back to Kathmandu we will be taking the plane.

We will be conducting a preparation climb meeting/ introduction to Nepal weeks before our scheduled departure to discuss briefly our Annapurna Base Camp Expedition.
