Trail Difficulty: 7/10

Adventure Duration: 8 day/s

With its coral reefs and rich culture, Bali and Lombok are famous for its diving and surfing scene. But beyond the sea, you’ll find hiking destinations that will make your experience in the island even more memorable.

On the first, day the group will have the time to head to the beach to ride the waves. The sunrise in Gunung Batur is the first activity on the second day, followed by a tour around Bali. Gunung Batur, standing at 1,717 meters above sea level, is an active volcano that provides a 360-degree view of the nearby Lake Batur and its neighboring mountains. Afterwards, we take a tour along coffee plantations, and through Ubud village where one can witness the ancient art of batik weaving, a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth.

Standing at 3,706 meters above sea level, Mt. Rinjani is one of the most popular adventure destinations in Indonesia, becauseof its rich biodiversity. Thousands of hikers and mountain climbers take this beautiful pilgrimage to the summit of Mt. Rinjani very year. As such, this area is protected by the Gunung Rinjani National Park. One can encounter Lutungs, (ebony leaf monkeys), and Bodok Alas (a rare type of leopard), in their natural habitat. At the mountain’s peak, hikers will be rewarded with amazing views of the sunrise, as well as the volcanic crater lake called Segara Anak, or "Child of the Sea" due to the blue waters in the caldera.

Mt. Rinjani is considered as one of the best-kept secrets in South East Asia. So what are you waiting for? Come over to Indonesia and take on this fascinating adventure with Trail Adventours!
