Mt. Binacayan

Great chance to experience the sea of clouds!

EXPLORE

FUN AT Mt. Binacayan

Trail Difficulty: 3/10

Adventure Duration: 1 day/s

"One of the popular destinations in Rizal, Mt. Binacayan just like its neighboring mountains is known for its limestone formation with a magnificent view of Sierra Madre and Rizal province from the peak.

For those who want to experience something new, Mt. Binacayan has minor bouldering parts which makes this destination challenging for some beginners. Along the trail, you can see different rock formations, and at the top you can catch the magnificent sea of clouds as the sun rises over the town in the morning.

If time permits, you can even go and visit the gorges of Brgy. Wawa, Montalban and the nearby Wawa Dam. The river that flows through and in between Mt. Binacayan and Mt. Pamitinan offers hikers a refreshing swim to end the day.

Come join us in exploring the gateway of the Sierra Madre and sharing life outdoors, only in Trail Adventours!

1. How hard is the climb?
Mt. Binacayan has a difficulty scale of 4/10, 10 being the hardest. While it may just be a 2 to 3 hour trek straight ascent to the summit parts of the trail will be quite technical as you maneuver your way along lime stones.

2. How do we get to Mt. Binacayan?
We take private vehicles to Wawa Montalban, the jump off point of Mt. Binacayan.

4. What if it rains?
The trek will be more challenging as the trail will be muddy and slippery. Let's prepare accordingly thus we require everyone to bring rain protection such as raincoats and poncho. If a storm signal is raised in the area the climb is automatically called off. For other decisions on cancelation the management will announce this to everyone.

5. Are there restrooms in the mountain?
There are decent restrooms and shower areas at the jump-off point. Aside from these there are no other restrooms.

6. Is there mobile signal?
The jump-off point and majority of the parts of the mountain will not have signal. There is signal at the summit.

7. Is this ideal for beginners?
We suggest climbing a level 1 or 2 climb before climbing Mt. Binacayan. But if you are confident about your physical fitness and have an active lifestyle then you are more than welcome to join this climb.

8. How big is the group?
At an average we have 12-15 participants plus your guides for this adventure but we can accommodate up to 24 climbers for this adventure.
