Overview

The province of Laguna is a popular destination for people looking for a relaxing weekend getaway because of it's numerous hot springs and delicous rice delicacies. But this does not mean Laguna is lacking in adventures and trekking to it's numerous waterfalls is one outdoor activity you can do.

The Waterfall Circuit version 2 visits 3 beautiful waterfalls in Laguna. First to be visited is the 72 meter high Hulugan Falls which is the highest in Laguna. Hulugan Falls is majestic as water trickles and spreads down it's slopes. Talay falls is a much smaller falls but is worth a visit especially to thrill seekers as it's basin has parts as deep as 40ft making it more than enough to do cliff dives. Lastly you will vsit the Hidden Falls, aptly named because it take more effort to get here. But the trek will be worth the effort as a multi-layered and massively wide waterfall greets you at the end of the trek.

Day 1
04:00 AM Meet up and Registration at McDonald's El Pueblo
04:30 AM Depart for Luisiana, Laguna
07:30 AM ETA Brgy. San Salvador, Luisiana (Hulugan, Talay and Hidden Falls Registration point at Kapitan's house)
07:45 AM Final Preparations and a short orientation. Take tricycle to jump-off point
08:00 AM Start Trek.
08:40 AM ETA at Hulugan Falls. Rest, swim and explore.
09:40 AM Start Trek to Talay Falls
10:30 AM ETA at Talay Falls. Take early Lunch, rest and explore.
11:30 AM Start Trek to Hidden Falls
12:00 PM ETA at Hidden Falls. Rest and enjoy.
12:45 PM Start Trek back to Jump-off point
01:45 PM ETA Jump-off point; ride to registration point (Kapitan's house)
02:00 PM ETD to Dafi Resort for Aliw Falls
02:10 PM ETA Aliw Falls Registration near Dafi Resort
02:30 PM Start Trek to Aliw Falls
03:00 PM Arrive at Aliw Falls. Rest, swim and enjoy.
04:00 PM Head back to jump-off point
04:30 PM ETA at Jump-off point. Head back to Brgy. San Salvador for washup
05:30 PM Departure from Luisiana, Laguna. Side trip or Dinner along the way then head back to Manila.
