Trail Adventours is a team of dynamic personalities whose interest in the outdoors has taken them to far off destinations from mountains to distant seas. There is no greater feeling when you are out there experiencing nature. We want to share our travels with you as we offer different packages in trekking, being the leading hiking company our knowledge of the Philippine mountains is unrivaled.

Our philosophy is that, as we travel we are also able to make a difference around the country. This is done through our commitment to share part of our profits to selected advocacies. Each adventure filled journey is a step to a better future, as it leaves a mark in the conservation of the environment and on uplifting communities. Our advocacies matter to us as each traveler we hike with.

Darren is a mountaineer, a literary autodidact and an aspiring polyglot. He is currently finishing his MA in International Studies in De la Salle University Manila. He recommends a visit to the playground of the gods for all outdoor enthusiasts.

Darren Mangado

Guido thinks he has ADHD because he seems unable to focus on one thing. He has to involve himself in many different things. Currently, he helps manage TrailAdventours, Culture Shock PH (a travel outfitter focused on culture, heritage and history) and Kawil Tours (a tour provider in Culion, Palawan). He is also taking up MA in Anthropology from UP Diliman. He recommends Mts. Ugo, Kalawitan and Kanlaon, and Batad as places to visit.

Guido Sarreal

Coby started climbing mountains when he was six. He has scaled difficultÂ mountains such as Mt. Halcon, Mt. Guiting- guiting and Mt. Apo as a boy. If he is not traveling he is running around, playing football or basketball, and (most of the time) performing for a gig. Coby is a musician who plays the saxophone, the clarinet, the flute. Bianca is always up for an adventure. That might be the reason that she is now living in the remote town of Sabangan in Mountain Province. She is passionate about her eco-creativity and goes so far as creating a zero-waste home. She recommends Mt. Kalawitan for a complete experience of culture, nature and adventure.

Bianca Silva

Julian is a believer of the classic motto -- work hard, play harder. He is a part-time Project Manager for IT projects and a full-time adventure-seeker. Joel Grande

Carlo, who also goes by the name Bugs, believes that life is about the pursuit of adventure. He is a seasoned mountaineer and an event organizer. Carlo Nicolas

Metro Manila Agnes is a theater actor, musician, bookworm, gourmet in the making and adventure seeker. She may seem contented with what she has right now but she wants to assure everybody that she has not yet stopped dreaming. She recommends Mt. Pulag to outdoor enthusiasts because of its majestic view and almost extreme mountain conditions.

Agnes Sarreal

Ryan is TrailAdventours' Employee of the Year, ab initio and ipso facto. His jokes and puns never fail to liven up exhausted and anxious guests, and his strength is always available for guests needing assistance. Ryan can speak six Filipino languages: Bisaya, Tagalog, Ilocano, Ilongo, Hiligaynon and Waray. Ryan recommends Mt. Ugo for a TrailAdventours trip.

Ryan Tuiza

Bani is a self-proclaimed nature and travel junkie. A romantic in every sense of the word, he seeks adventure and surrounds himself with music and ideas. He likes meeting new people from different cultures. He works as a manager and co-founder of Cynder, a tech start-up. For TrailAdventours trips, he recommends Pico de Loro for a day-climb and Mt. Ugo for a two-day hike.

Bani Balaguer

A licensed Mechanical Engineer by profession, and an avid outdoorsman by heart. Lance has been climbing mountains ever since he was 12. A former president of the DLSU Outdoor Club, he takes pride knowing that he has been able to help people discover and conquer themselves in the outdoors. Rod plans to become the mayor of Tuguegarao City by 2031. To prepare for this, he's been traveling around the country to grasp a better understanding of his hometown vis-a-vis other cities in the country. He dreams of finishing the triathlon race Ironman 70.3 Philippines and of becoming a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder. Rod Barit

Neil's first climb was in Mt. Cristobal, with TrailAdventours, one fateful day in March 2012. Since then, he has braved countless mountains, reached numerous summits, and trekked varied terrain. A proud UP Mountaineer, he is also into trail running and biking. On weekdays, he brings out his alter ego and works for an investment bank. Neil Orticio

Benj Tuason is an outdoor enthusiast with a hunger for adventure as big as his appetite for food. He teaches physics at his alma mater DLSU. He is also the coadvisor of DLSU Outdoor Club. He may currently be the youngest guide but you can always count on him to motivate you all the way to the top. Benj Tuason

Betty"s love for nature grew after joining the San Beda Dragon Boat Rowing Team and San Beda Mountaineering Society in College. She decided to put her Master's degree on hold to embrace a life of traveling and volunteering while trying to find her true passion and purpose on planet earth. Betty Cassidy

Kristine Reynaldo is a mountaineer, dragonboat paddler, and yoga practitioner. Kristine Reynaldo

Eugene is one of the more senior guides of Trail Adventours. He has a vast experience in mountain climbing having started exploring the outdoors in 1995. Currently he is a government employee and part-time basketball referee. Eugene also loves doing volunteer work especially when it involves indigenous peoples communities. He recommends Mt. Marami as a day hike and Mt. Halcon as a multi-day hike.

Eugene Teraña

Cora is a Cebuana temporarily taking a detour from her laid back Cebu life to live independently in the hustle and bustle of Manila. She works for sales and marketing at a travel magazine which complements her lifestyle and inspires her to further explore the country. For a guy with a height like his, you'd think he'd be better off playing basketball. But Paulo doesn't let that get in his way when it comes to hiking. His first climb was a personal triumph and disaster at the same time but he never looked back. x number of climbs and two years later, he spends most of his weekends as a TrailAd adventure guide.

Pau Mijares

Arn is an innate nature-lover. He grew up surrounded by majestic mountains in Bicol. When one day asked to join a climb for fun, he did not realize that it became a serious hobby eventually. He recommends hiking for the reason that not only would you see beautiful scenery, meet lots of good people, develop closer relationship with your friends, and improve your health, (above mentioned are all true), but simply it teaches you to appreciate life much more.

Allan is one of the youngest guide of Trail Adventours. He never realized the fun of climbing the mountains until he reached his first summit. After then, almost every weekend he climbs. He encourages people to climb not only to see the view from the summit but to prove that everyone can reach the heights if you have the spirit of adventure. He recommends Mt. Ugo and Mt. Allan James Rebuta

Ram is an adrenaline-junkie, adventure-seeker and nature-lover. Always on the look-out for the next destination, he is a passionate traveler who loves to immerse himself to the different sights, sounds, and tastes of diverse cultures. Jackie is a corporate slave during weekdays and a trekker-slash-traveler during weekends. Armed with an appetite for adventure, she goes for all sorts of travels as she believes that each represents a different experience of self discovery whether it's a touristy place or off the beaten path. Youngest of 6 kids, Lilay started hiking at a young age following the footsteps of her siblings. She loves to paint, travel, watching musicals and travelling. When he's not working on websites or running his dad's law office, Paolo is outdoors. He's one who could never sit still longer than 2 minutes which is why hiking fits him perfectly. Marvin Madrista

Marj is a Customer Due Diligence Executive who specialises in financial crime compliance. During her spare time, she frees herself from the urban jungle and escapes to Mother Nature. She loves to contemplate and appreciates the beauty of nature while taking long and bumpy hikes through the mountains. Gilbert Bueno started hiking with Trail Adventours as a participant of Mt. Pico de Loro climb back in 2013. Since then, he had been hiking regularly as refuge when work and the city life becomes too stressful for him. When he is not hiking, Gilbert usually spends the whole weekend just sleeping until 2PM, and doing movie and series marathons. For beginners, he recommends Mt. Tibig in Batangas for its amazing view of the Batangas Bay.

Kim has been hiking with TrailAdventours since 2013. The moment she set foot on her first summit she knew there was no turning back. Kim Orticio

A person of energy, JP is an accountant by profession but an outdoorsman by heart. He loves to hike and dive and does these because this is his way of breaking away from the fast-paced city life.
