  • Day 1

  • 08:00 AM July 13: Manila to Tokyo, Japan and head to Hakuba Welcome to Tokyo, Japan! Free time to go around Tokyo and its bustling shops and restaurants before boarding the overnight bus to head to Hakuba, Nagano for the jump-off point.

  • Day 2

  • 08:00 AM July 14: Start of Hakuba hike Hike starts today. We head to Sarukuraso for the jump off point. Today's goal is to reach Tengu-sanso, the overnight hut from which we will start the ridge line trek to the famed Hakuba-sanzan: Hakuba-yarigatake, Shakushi-dake, and Shirouma-dake. Depending on the weather, there is a possibility of seeing a snow field that lasts way deep into the Japanese summer.

  • Day 3

  • 08:00 AM July 15: Summit 2 peaks Summit days to scale Hakuba-Yarigatake (Peak 1) and Shakushi-dake (Peak 2). Bask in the glory of the Hakuba valley and if we're lucky, we'll be walking alongside a sea of clouds that envelops the lowlands of Hakuba. We'll be staying at Hakuba-Sanso, the first ever mountain hut created in Japan which paved the way for Japanese alpine trekking for the generations to come.

  • Day 4

  • 08:00 AM July 16: Summit 3rd peak and head back to Tokyo From Hakuba-sanso, just a little climb up will bring us to the peak of Shirouma-dake, the highest of the 3 peaks. From here on out, we'll be descending towards Tsugaike-kogen, passing through minor peaks such as Korenge-san and Norikura-san, and the picturesque Hakuba-Oike. We'll be ending the trek with a gondola ride to bring us to the end of our journey. Freshen up at the onsen near the bus station as we wait for our bus to head back to Tokyo to stay overnight.

  • Day 5

  • 08:00 AM July 17: Tokyo to Manila Enjoy your last day in Japan before flying back to your next destination, or to Manila.
