Mt. Pinatubo is regarded as one of the most popular destinations in the country. Located between Pampanga, Zambales and Tarlac, Mt. Pinatubo boasts of a landscape covered in lahar and boulders, with valleys that serve as home to Aeta Tribesmen. The gem of Mt. Pinatubo, however, is its crater lake, which lies at the end of a 2.5-hour trek. The color of the water changes from blue green to deep blue depending on the season.

Long after its historic 1991 eruption, Mt. Pinatubo has become a place worth traveling to, most especially for people yearning for adventure. Get ready to discover one of the Philippine’s most beautiful destinations with us!

Did you know?
After 600 years of being in deep slumber, Mt. Pinatubo erupted in 1991, discharging tons of sulfur dioxide or lahar in the air. It was one of the most devastating eruptions that happened in the Philippine history, leaving billions worth of crops and thousands of properties covered in lahar.

02:30 AM Meet up and Registration at McDonald's El Pueblo, Ortigas.
03:00 AM Depart for Mt. Pinatubo, Capas.
06:00 AM Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)at Mt. Pinatubo DENR.
06:30 AM Board 4x4 and Start Ride to Mt. Pinatubo jump off point.
08:00 AM Arrival at foot of Mt. Pinatubo Crater .Start Trek
10:00 AM ETA Mt. Pinatubo Crater. Rest and explore the area.Early lunch.
12:00 PM Start Descent.
02:00 PM Arrival at 4x4 stop. Board 4x4.
03:30 PM ETA Mt. Pinatubo DENR. Wash up.
05:00 PM Depart Manila.
08:30 PM ETA Manila.

1. How hard is the climb?
The trek itself is easy as it is very flat. The challenge is more of the heat and the length of the trek.

2. Is this ideal for beginners?
Yup, it is one of the best climbs to start with.

3. Is there a restroom?
There is a restroom at the jump-off point and at the crater.

4. How do we get there?
A private van will drive to Capas. Travel passes through NLEX and takes around 3 hours.

5. Can we take a bath after?
Yes, there are facilities to take a shower. You may choose from a more expensive to a simpler facility.

6. Is there an age limit for this hike?
60 years old above should have a nurse as part of the DENRs policy and not us. If incase you are in this age, please inform us as soon as possible and we'll see what we can do for you.

Kids 6 years and below are not suggested by the DENR. Thus, if you will be bringing your child, please inform us as soon as possible.
