FUN AT Taal Volcano

Trail Difficulty: 1/10

Adventure Duration: 1 day/s

Taal Volcano is known as a volcano with more than one feature. It means that the volcano’s formation can greatly be attributed to its eruptive characteristic. This well-known volcano is located in the province of Batangas, where both locals and tourists alike frequently visit to enjoy spectacular views and have wonderful outdoor trips.

Taal Volcano has a total of 33 recorded eruptions, all of which occurred in the so-called Volcano Island. This famous island is situated in the heart of Taal Lake. This is also where a Taal adventure takes place for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. If you are searching for a unique place to explore, where you can also appreciate the beauty of nature and have a good time with family and friends, then a trip to Taal Volcano is perfect for you.

To those planning a nature immersion trip that is not too far from the city, Taal is one of the top choices, especially for inexperienced adventurers. In fact, its difficulty level is rated 1 out of 10. In order to get to the Volcano Island, a boat ride is needed and it is recommended that you bring extra clothes with you, in case it gets too windy and you get soaked during the ride. 1. How do we get there?
We take a van that drives us 1 ½- 2 hours to the town of Talisay. From there we ride a boat for around 15 minutes to the jump-off point of the Taal Volcano.

2. Is this ideal for beginners? How hard is it?
Very much, in fact it is one of the mountains we highly recommend if you’re starting. The trail has a gentle ascent and is not too long.

3. Can we swim in the lake?
The trail that we will follow leads us to the view deck and not towards the crater. A different boat ride is needed if you wish to go down to the crate and swim.
