Waterfall Circuit

FUN AT Waterfall Circuit

Trail Difficulty: 2/10

Adventure Duration: 1 day/s

Hikers who want to experience two falls in one day may choose the Waterfalls Circuit where Buntot-Palos Falls in Pangil, Laguna and Ambon-Ambon Falls in Laurel Batangas are offered. Buntot-Palos Falls is a three-hour trek whereas other waterfalls in this series require no more than ten minutes to reach by boat or trek. A grand, descending ciff to fall on sharp rocks called as “Kawa-Kawa” and a catchbasin that is big enough for swimmers awaits the hikers. Beneath the falls is a small cave large enough to accommodate a tent for a more extreme experience.
Ambon-Ambon Falls is part of the Panguil River Eco Park offering a relaxing ambiance with its cottages beside the riverbanks. On the way to the falls, popular spots including “Barkong Bato” or rock-formed ship can be seen. There is also “Biak na Bato” or split rock. The trek to the falls will take you to 15-20 minutes depending on the volume of visitor. The trip includes a balsa ride where hikers should take precaution on personal belongings. There are several brooks along the way to the falls which is a real magnificent sight at only 5 meters high with strong gustiness that will surely challenge and thrill you.

1. How long do is travel time.
Travel time is approximately 1 ½-2 hours

2. Where are the waterfalls located?
The waterfalls are located at the town of Panguil in Laguna

3. Is the climb hard?
Hard is subjective but the climb is ideal for beginners. There is an element of challenge still. It is only the first falls that is really a legit climb. It is a 2 hour trek with minimal inclines but if it rains the climb gets a bit harder because of the mud. The second falls is an easy 30 minute trek that is flat.

4. Is it ok to just go to one waterfall? Is there a discount for this?
It is ok if you want to just visit one but the rate remains the same as prior reservations have already been made for the trip.

5. What food is served?
Local dishes such as bulalo, sisig, chapsuy etc.. If you have special diet requirements please let us know so that we can arrange for this.
