Overview

Mt. Arayat is an extinct volcano rising prominently above the flatlands of Central Luzon. The Quadpeak route is a more challenging and rewarding traverse that covers four major viewpoints and peaks of the mountain, allowing hikers to experience its ridges, forests, rock formations, and wide-open views of the Pampanga plains.

This route is ideal for hikers looking for a full day adventure, combining steep ascents, rolling trails, ridge walks, and multiple summit stops. From the peaks, you can enjoy panoramic views of Pampanga, the Sierra Madre range, and nearby mountains on clear days.

Did You Know?
Long before Mt. Arayat became a popular hiking destination, locals believed that the mountain was home to Mariang Sinukuan, a fairy or deity said to protect the forests and wildlife of the area. Many stories describe her as the guardian of Mt. Arayat and its natural riches.
